تهدف اللجنة الى دراسة السلبيات والثغرات الامنية التى تؤثر فى تأمين البنوك وعمليات نقل الاموال وتغذية ماكينات الصراف الالى ATM وعرض أهم الموضوعات والمشروعات الامنية الجارى تنفيذها ، كما تقوم اللجنة بدراسة خطة تطوير وتحديث وثيقة نظام واجراءات تأمين البنوك التى تتضمن الاشتراطات والمحددات الامنية الواجب استيفاءها بكافة فروع البنوك داخل جمهورية مصر العربية لتواكب التحديات والاحداث الامنية الراهنة والتطور التكنولوجى المستمر وكذا البنود الفنية للسياسات الامنية واجراءات تأمين الجهاز المصرفى الصادرة عن البنك المركزى المصرى وخطة العمل المستقبلية
