التوصل إلى توصيات تعبر عن رأى موحد للبنوك أعضاء الاتحاد فيما تواجهه من مشاكل مصرفية فى تعاملاتها مع الجهات المختلفة , وهو ما من شأنه تحقيق وترسيخ مفاهيم وأعراف العمل المصرفى الصحيح واتباع نظم وإجراءات موحدة بين البنوك يلتزم أعضاؤه العمل بموجبها , وتعتبر توصيات اللجنة الفنية بمثابة دستور فى واقع العمل اليومى للبنوك تلجأ إليه الإدارات المختصة للاسترشاد به.

وضع تفسيرات ومفاهيم للأعراف المصرفية يتم الالتزام بها من جانب البنوك خاصة ما يتعلق منها بالعمليات المصرفية .
• دراسة جميع الموضوعات المتعلقة بالعمليات المصرفية على اختلاف أنواعها.
• دراسة جميع المشاكل الداخلية المتعلقة بالعمل المصرفى .
• توصيف الخدمات المصرفية .
• دراسة سبل تفعيل التطبيقات المناسبة لتيسير العمليات المصرفية .
• دراسة مشاكل البنوك مع الجهات والأجهزة العديدة التى تتعامل معها سواء المحلية أو الدولية ووضع الحلول المناسبة لها .
