ارتفعت أسعار الذهب صباح اليوم الخميس، بأكثر من 1%، نتيجة عمليات شراء لتغطية مراكز البيع، وذلك بعد تراجعها إلى أدنى مستوى في شهر خلال وقت سابق من الجلسة، بينما تترقب السوق بيانات أمريكية رئيسية للحصول على إشارات إضافية حول مسار سياسة مجلس الاحتياطي الفيدرالي مستقبلاً.
وارتفع الذهب في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة 0.84% ليصل إلى 2609.40 دولاراً للأونصة. ومع ذلك، تراجعت العقود الآجلة الأمريكية للذهب بنسبة 1.16% إلى 2622.50 دولاراً.
هبط الذهب بأكثر من 2% إلى أدنى مستوى له منذ 18 نوفمبر، عقب قرار الاحتياطي الفيدرالي بخفض أسعار الفائدة كما كان متوقعاً، حيث أشار البنك إلى نيته إبطاء وتيرة تقليص تكاليف الاقتراض خلال عام 2025.
وصرّح رئيس البنك، جيروم باول، بأن صانعي السياسات في الاحتياطي الفيدرالي يسعون لتحقيق تقدم أكبر في خفض التضخم، وذلك أثناء دراسة مسار خفض أسعار الفائدة مستقبلاً، مشيراً إلى أن التضخم تجاوز التوقعات المرتبطة بنهاية العام.
حالياً، تتوقع الأسواق أن يُبقي البنك المركزي على سعر الفائدة القياسي لليلة واحدة دون تغيير في اجتماعه المقرر يومي 28 و29 يناير.
بالنسبة للمعادن النفيسة الأخرى، ارتفعت الفضة بنسبة 0.3% إلى 29.44 دولاراً للأونصة، وصعد البلاتين بنسبة 0.6% إلى 924.65 دولاراً، وارتفع البلاديوم بنسبة 1% إلى 912.70 دولاراً.
